Ainsley Harrriott Launches Comforting Classics to Beat the Chill
As temperatures plummet across the UK, Symington’s and Ainsley Harriott have experienced a 50% rise in demand for their soups. And in response for a nation crying out for home comforts as the chill hits, the celebrity chef has created a new range of classic flavours in cup soup format.
The first two products from the Ainsley Harriott Classic Creations range, Cream of Tomato and Minestrone, are available in Tesco Express stores from the end of January. The rest of the range, which is free from artificial colours and preservatives, comprises four other tasty favourites including Cream of Chicken, Beef Broth, Winter Vegetable and Spring Vegetable.
The range has translated these classic favourite flavours into a convenient cup soup format: simply drying the tasty, fresh, natural ingredients (selected by Ainsley), added ZERO additives or preservatives, hence achieving the delicious, premium quality texture and flavour you’d expect from the hands of Mr Harriott himself.
Ainsley Harriott says,
“We’re seeing more and more people try adventurous varieties and tastes, but in this cold weather there’s nothing more satisfying than a good old fashioned classic. My new range is all about re-introducing the much loved, traditional classic flavours.”
Commenting on the launch of the range, Gemma Hicks, Marketing Manager for Ainsley Harriott, states,
“Symington’s and the Ainsley Harriott production teams are already working 24 hours a day, seven days a week to keep Britain warm this winter. Cup soups are the most convenient and delicious pick me up, so the new launch expands the existing Ainsley Harriott range and answers consumer demand for homely, comforting flavours as we battle through the winter months.”
