Success at The Drum Marketing Awards
Symington’s are this week celebrating following a great result at The Drum Marketing Awards. The awards were presented at a sparkling black tie ceremony on Thursday 15th April at the Ramada Jarvis hotel in Manchester.
Symington’s were short listed for two awards in the following categories at the prestigious event:
Individual Awards – Emerging Marketer of the Year
– For David Cherrie, Marketing Manager
Brand Awards – New Product/Service Launch Strategy of the Year
- For the launch of Golden Wonder, The Nation’s Noodle
In both categories, Symington’s received a Commendation for its achievements in marketing. Even being nominated for these awards was such a privilege due to the high numbers of entrants from across the marketing industry.
David Cherrie says,
“We set ourselves a tough challenge back in August last year to go up against a very strong brand leader. The recognition gained at these awards is testament to the hard work that everybody across Symington’s has put into this range and made it the success it is.”
